Synopsis: Attention all seals! The humans think they can take over our beach with their greasy suntan oil, oversized umbrellas, and dorky snorkel gear. They’d better think again! We’re armed with the most high-tech weapons that sand dollars can buy: pickles, watermelon catapults, water balloon canons, and more! If you see a human, you know what to do.
Cast of characters
Stella, The Star
Is highly gregarious and this beach is a favorite hang out. Stella and friends want their privacy. So watch out! When they are done swimming they can be pushy!
Surfer Joe, Rookie
When he’s not at the beach, Joe spends his days dreaming of becoming a pro-surfer and traveling the world. Like duh...
Edwin, Spray-Happy Car Washer
While his cousin surfs, Edwin practices his spraying technique at the local car wash. He may also use these skills against the occasional seal.
Jordan & Jenna, Twin Track Runners
The stars of their school’s track team, Jordan and Jenna can really get their feet moving when they need to. Even on the sandy beach.
Bohdi, Guitarist Extraordinaire
Bohdi splits his days between the beach and the Berklee School of Music, where he makes his guitar scream classic surfer ballads.
Baby Seal
Springtime is when the beaches are teeming with cute baby seals. But don’t worry, even though the baby looks to be all alone, Mama seal will come after you if you mess with her pup.
Big Trey, Muscles
Trey is either at the gym or on the beach. Either way, he’s usually pumping iron and flashing a grin.
Oscar
Despite Oscar’s big eyes, he’s shy. You will see him only peaking around on occasion. Maybe it has to do with his small size?
Ray, Jet Setter
A fortunately canceled meeting is allowing Ray, the traveling businessman, some much needed R & R on the beach before heading home.
Katrina, Funny Lady
The beach is a comedic gold mine for this professional comedienne. She relays all of the things she sees to her audiences. Just wait until they hear about the seals.
Christian, A+
An honor student and makes friends where ever he goes. His favorite thing to do besides study, play frisbee with his dog named Frisbee (of course), and eat ice cream.
Jim, Laid Back Dad
It takes a lot to get Jim riled up, especially during a fun day at the beach with his family. Unless of course, a seal shows up.
Ethan, UV Repellant
Ethan has no idea what a tan feels like because his mom keeps shellacking him with sunscreen. But he doesn’t mind because he’s too busy making sandcastles.
Skylar, Future Marine Biologist
Wants to become a marine biologist when she grows up. Meanwhile, Skylar’s current goal is to get close to the seals, but hasn’t quite figured out how to do that yet...
Jessica, Sun Screen Sprayer
If you go to the beach with Jessica, you’re getting slathered in the sunblock. After all, it’s her number one duty as a mom and wife to keep everyone safe.
Captain Willy, Watermelon Launcher
When the seals lost the beach, they called upon Captain Willy for his world-renowned watermelon catapult expertise. No one builds a launcher like Willy does. Five out of six championship watermelon chucking teams endorse him.
Nick Taylor, Hunk
Instead of seeking a job at the request of his mom, whom he lives with, he comes to the beach. Maybe he should work here.
Rocket Seal, Fearless Leader
Elected as President of the Local Chapter of the Experimental Aircraft Association, Rocket Seal always flies in on a new device. Even more impressive, he’s the first seal to join the organization.
